  • Paver Driveway Installation

When choosing a driveway material, the most crucial aspect to consider is durability. You need material that can withstand tons of pressure and live up to every day use. In that regard, paving stones are unmatched. Because of their unique shape and the way they are installed, paving stones offer a flexibility that is envied by other driveway materials. Unlike concrete, paving stones do not crack in harsh weather or under pressure. They do not get faded or discolored. If a problem should arise in your driveway (I.e. an oil spill on pavers or other stain), instead of replacing the entire driveway for tens of thousands of dollars you can replace just the affected stones for substantially cheaper. Sealing your driveway with paver sealer is also a great way to protect your investment even further. Paver sealer coats your driveway and wards off stains and maintains the original color of your stone. Paving stones are also a great material if you want to add a flare to your outdoor space. Because of their versatility in size, shape and color, pavers can be laid in intricate patterns that allow you to make any shape or design you’d like. If the environment is something that is important to you, you can also try permeable pavers. Permeable pavers are interlocking paving stones that are installed on top of various of layers and aquifers that store rain runoff. This prevents stormwater pooling on your driveway or damaging your home’s infrastructure. Permeable pavers are also eco-friendly as they divert stormwater runoff from the main city drainage system. Paving stones also need very minimal maintenance as opposed to concrete driveways and can last an average of 30 to 50 years (twice as long as concrete). When compared side by side, a Paving stone driveway is more economical, eco-friendly, more durable and more aesthetically pleasing than it’s concrete counterpart.

  • Garden Retaining Walls

Slopes and hillsides add to the charm and uniqueness of Southern California real estate. However, if you aren’t careful, a hillside can eat away at the usability of you outdoor space. Like it or not, topographical challenges are something Southern California home owners have to deal with. This challenge often leads to retaining wall, or garden wall, construction. Garden walls are a great way to take back your outdoor space and/or segment your landscape from your hardscape.

  • Pool Decks

In the scorching summer heat of Southern California, the backyard pool has become an inviting and uniting oasis. Renovating an old pool patio or choosing the best pool paving materials to surround it, is one of the most crucial pool design decisions. Even if your kids are fish and rarely come out of the water, the surrounding surface will get as much, if not more use than the pool itself. Choosing the best pool paving materials is a pursuit that can become complicated. Materials, colors, textures, and designs seem to present countless options. However, with a little guidance, you can quickly be traveling down the cool and exciting path that leads to the pool area of your dreams.

  • Steps and Coping

To create a cohesive look for your outdoor living space you can’t forgot about your walkway steps and coping. This is often an overlooked outdoor area and can change the entire dynamic of your space. Steps and coping not only serve a functional purpose but can also add depth to your yard. If you’re undergoing an entire backyard renovation be sure to plan ahead of time to make sure the steps are made out of the same material as the rest of the space. Depending on your home’s aesthetic, there are two major options for steps and coping; Paving stones or Poured concrete.

  • Paver Walkways

Walkways are a fundamental part of any residential or commercial property. This especially rings true for sloping landscapes. Without a pathway, merely walking from the street to your front door can become a chore. Paver walkways make getting around your yard a lot easier. Walkways attract a huge amount of foot traffic so they need to be extra durable. They not only lead your guests from one area to another in your outdoor living space, they also help prevent visitors from carving their own path around your yard. Most important, walkways also increase the overall appeal and functionality of your property. If you’re looking to remodel your walkways, make sure to plan ahead of time. Professional paver installers and licensed contractors can help you look into various materials and designs for paver walkways.
